thin twisted new growth

what could be going on here, with thin twisted new growth. the moisture and watering is good, ph levels are good. i only have a lux meter but that's in range. what else do I look for?

your both right. I checked my timer and the thing was stuck on 24hrs, so I'm guessing heat and genetics. I've tried growing this gsc before and had the same thing but bit as extreme. I also grew an ethos auto under 24hr light and it was fine. I have now fixed the timer for 18hrs to give her some rest

Hi its the lights, just not just the lights, but have you measured the temps at the budsites? I think its heatstress...

Don’t have a solid answer per se - but when I grew autos, I noticed this was quite common among several of the auto strains I tried. I ended up just giving up on trying to find a culprit. Ive never seen it on any photo periods I’ve grown since then. I chalked it up to being an autoflower thing. Seemed to happen around the 2-3rd week of flower if it did. I think I even had a grow question on it way back. I wouldn’t stress it too much if it’s the only symptom happening, and you’re confident your variables are on point
