Hiya mate, I would say both. Before drying, I strip my girls of wind leaves and larger sugar leaves. Then, after drying, I trim the tiny leaves that remain. For me this is a good method of trimming + these little leaves taste very good as well :D

Dry trim for smoother smoke and wet trim if your selling and want nice looking buds.

I do dry trimming to slow drying process with leaves on it helps chlorophyll continue to be leached from plant producing a smoother smoke. Same reason I flush as well and do 48 hours darkness. Good luck and happy growing

Definitely recommend dry trimming. You will have to invest more time trimming, but you’re finished product will be far superior in my opinion.

14th day of dry. Small bit of offcut bud reading 58% in 1 ounch grove bag overnight.14th day of dry. Temp/RH have been around 60/60, but not getting snap from stems. Did trim yesterday and took a good deal of dry leaves by simply pulling gently / running the scissors over them. Would you cut and jar at this point or leave until stems are brittle?

Stigmas Still White...?My Trichomes have started turning from Clear to Cloudy alot of White, with a few amber. 3 of my plants still have white hairs "stigmas" and seem to growing more. Can plants HERM this late in the grow?

Hi guys! Does anyone here has a technique for drying without a designated closet or tent space? I live in a studio, and don't have a traditional closet i could use. What options would you recommend? I saw there is one using just a paper bag? I'm scaptical about that though...

My girls all have very close buds on the cola's, they are packed one on top off the other, big and dense. This caused air flow issues and helped to fester the bud rot. Is there a way I can encourage more stretch in the plant? especially in the cola's?

Two plants, one tent: how to harvest one earlier than the other?If you have two plants in one tent, and one plant becomes ready for harvest before the other, what do you do? Cut one and hang it in same tent with light? Let one get more amber? Dry outside the tent?

The 00 kush stretched,I have almost 10 inches between the light is this good at 7 weeks or do I need to prune the top? How much is too much defoliation at this point, can I do away with the fan leaves? Could use advice for the future on how to know when to flush the plants?

When can I start harvesting?Hey guys, how long do you think I’ve got till I can harvest? I’m keen to chop her but I don’t want to be too impatient. It’s week 9 of a Fast Eddy CBD and only has 9% THC, so I’ve no idea is that’ll effect the trichomes going milky or not.

Help!! Do I harvest?About 50% milky, 40% clear trichome heads. But in some minor spots, they are all dark brown/amber. Its supposed to be a Forbidden Cherry Automatic (Dutch Passion), but did not turn purple. I want it to be a bit more relaxing, indica-like. Week 11, outdoor balcony grow.

Drying conditions still good?Drying for 8 days and 10h No SNAP and smells a bit like grass/hey Unfortunately I have to change my conditions from 16.1c 65% rh (rh was slow raising from 55%to 65%) To now 16.6c 51%rh. Is this still good for the last days? Last drying took me 16 days.

Close to Flush/Harvest? No good tric pics even using Mag Scope! Still White Pistils on the oldest plant Wondering how close I am to Harvest here? These were all 50-60 day strains. Back Left CK leaves are lightening up like mad...the others are following (Currently on Dragon Force and boost) but the purple (Front left of canopy) still light pistils! No Good Trich pics to see amber!

Humidity whilst drying Hoping someone could help. I’ve got my buds up drying but my RH is 70% and will not come down. I have it in a growing tent so I has air intake and carbon filter with a osculating fan AND a dehumidifier. Although it’s at 70% RH will it be ok?

When to flush? About 10 days off when I'm supposed to finish.When shall I start to flush?! Second grow so need to make sure I get some handy tips from my fellow growers... Barneys says 55-50 for both Wedding Cake and Critical Kush, that takes me to 11th April there abouts.... What you think?
