Don't panic.... but don't do that again! Make sure the buds are not touching each other, make sure the fan is not blowing directly on the buds and things will be fine. If you ever find the buds are too dry in the future, jarring them up and putting a piece of lettuce in the jar with them will raise the humidity in the jar just enough to soften the buds slightly and should be enough to bring them back to where you want them to be. It's much the same as using a piece of bread to soften up rock hard brown sugar... you can use bread as well BUT that will tend to add a different taste to the buds and therefore isn't something you'd really want to do.... using lettuce is safest because there's no overall flavor/smell to lettuce. As a rule of thumb, what you want to try to achieve when drying is 60F, 60% humidity and have a fan blowing air gently AROUND the buds, not directly on them... that should give you a nice, long, slow dry time. Good luck....

NegotiatedBubble answered grow question 2 seconds ago The humidifier needs to be plugged into a humidity controller if it does not have a setting to adjust that. Something like an InkBird Humidity controller will work: USA https://inkbird.com/collections/humidity-controllers

@GrowingGrannie is absolutely correct. 60°F / 15°C @ 60% RH is optimal dry/cure. The Bovida packs for cannabis are 62% for storage, so just convert your room into a giant Bovida.

A humidifier is unnecessary except in extreme circumstances. Just dry them in the same room you grew them in as this should've hopefully been around 45-50% humidity anyway towards the end of flower. Hopefully its salvageable and won't grow mould if it was just one night👍 I recommend leaving the buds on the stems next time, if you didn't do it this time - it helps to slow dry everything, even if you have relatively low humidity.

Few hours of rh that high will not create mold Few days your fucked I wouldn’t use a humidifier unless it’s like 30%th . I use the grow room to dry and it’s fine keep ventilation fan on medium rh is about 45% drys in 7 days I always wet trim and leave on stems just trim leaves -stems help the buds dry slower in low rh

Don't over think the RH if you can get it to a comfortable level with humidifier and dehumidifier. Personally got sick of this. Now I leave the RH alone and focus on temps, so long as you keep it below 18c/64f it will retain volatile terpenes, however this will dry ALOT quicker. My flower is ready to jar in 3 1/2 - 4 days. The slow dry IS alot better but I would rather not potentially mold up the flower. Turns out great. Hope this helps!

Do you have a moisture meter? You can pick one up for about on amazon. It has two metal prods and you can stick it into the buds to check the moisture. You can dry them out and check it daily. Once it's at around 11-12% it's ready to be stored for curing. Nobody on here can tell you if it's ruined or not. Time will tell
