I germinate papertowel and plant into final container. I use a hand spray, put a plastic cup over the sprout and spray the top surface with about 100ml every day and take the cup off when finished spraying (no opportunity for the light to burn the leaves if they dont get wet) - leaving it dry around the plant to encourage lateral root growth and then a tiny trickle down the bottom if the stem like 5ml 100ml sounds a lot but your temps and air movement mean that most will dry out before the roots get anywhere near it and it means your soil won't (hopefully) go hydrophobic.

Hi there, Before planting the seeds, soak your soil with decent amount of water.I would say 100~150ml would be enough. Then plant your seeds.Check your medium moisture everyday and if you think if it seems to dry, give another 100~150ml of water.Follow that method and increase amount of water as they are getting mature. When you think they are strong enough to handle, give water until you see some run off from the bottom.Good luck and happy growing... ✌️

Hey man. I Germinate my seeds directly into my coco mix. Check out my video on my diary on how I do this. New to grow diaries but a fairly experienced gardener. First you adjust your water to the correct PH. Then make a small hole about the size of your pinky tip (6mm or 1/4 in) deep. Drop the seed in the hole. Water the seed and around the seed using only about the amount of a shot glass worth of water while covering the seed with your substrate. Monitor the surface mosture for the next week. If the surface seems dry then simply mist in about another shot glass worth of PH correct water. In about 6-10 days you will see your seedling start to pop up. Slowly start increasing the amount of water you are giving her as the surface drys out. Hope this was helpful! 🙂
