Clone X PH question

Anyone ever have problems with clone x needing to PH UP solution? I use RO water and never needed ph up since the start. My success with clone x was tied to using ph up in the solution to bring ph in range. Thanks for the feedback. ☮️

Clonex does contain phosphoric acid, so it will drop the pH, especially in RO/DI water.

Thanks for the response. I unfortunately don’t have the luxury of such wonderful tap. My tap water runs around 1400 PPM. We don’t drink it. RO water is hard to learn but is like you said neutral. However upon mixing the total solution for my hydro feedings the solution ranges in the 7.2 ph range. I like 5.8 so I always have to add PH down. Therefore haven’t opened the ph up until using clone x. Was just wondering if anyone else had the same experience with this product.

Ummmm I’m not exactly sure what the question is. PH buffering solution doesn’t make a product work better or not work. It just adjusts PH range and that’s it. I make my mix and I adjust. If it needs PH up I use that. If it needs PH down I use that. But to say clone x success is tied to using PH up isn’t really a thing in my book. It worked well because you adjusted your PH to the proper range. Which is what you’re supposed to do at any stage. I’m sorry I don’t really understand what your question is or what you want us to reply to this. Feel free to DM me to clarify what it is you mean. Side note: I used to use RO but I don’t anymore. You can’t adjust PH in straight RO. There’s nothing in the water for the test pen to properly function and the tester just drifts forever. RO caused me more headaches than it was worth. Plus my tap water comes out at 62-74 PPM so it’s pretty clean. Anyway good luck with your grow! 🤙
