Hey buddy, I'm not a pro at SCROG, I set up my SCROG net at the start of flowering after doing several FIMs and guiding them, but I think, and from what I've seen, that the best thing is to put the net during the vegetative stage to guide them directly where we want. Now, in my next SCROG, I'm doing it this way and I think it could yield better results. However, I have a follow-up where I put the net right at the beginning of flowering, and considering that the plant stretches a lot in the first 2 weeks of flowering, I was able to guide them perfectly and without issues. It's all about trying to see what gives you better results. The strain we are using also plays a role; some plants stretch a lot during flowering, making it easy to guide them, while others don't stretch as much, and it will be better to have them already guided.
