Hi new nub question I have a 120x120 secret jardin hs 1 passive air intake. sculd I have the window open too? Ore sculd I seal the inline hole and only open the widow /passiv air intake?? Pic 1 2 ore 3

You are basically making a growing environment in your tent. So sealed is best. Having air transfer through providing plants co2 to breath while cleaning air on exit. Yet maintaining a warmer light area with moving air and a more stable atmosphere to grow in. Good luck and happy growing 🌱🌱🌱

Normally, you have a vacuum created by the exhaust fan in the tent, and then air is automatically drawn in through the intake duct due to the negative pressure. First, seal everything up and see how the temperature and humidity develop. I have a 5-step transformer in front of my exhaust fan, so I can adjust the power higher or lower as needed.

You want to create suction, so use the passive intake and have it all exhausting out. Your trying to pull the heat and smell up and out.

Are (constantly) high daytime temperatures a huge problem in flower?My day temperature since turing my light up to max during flower are reaching 29-30c | 84.2 - 86f, while the daytime RH is at roughly 40% - 50%. Is the high temperature something to be concerned about? pics 1 and 2 are the exact same data as pics 3 and 4, just set to c/f each.

Anyone tried a plasma filter instead of a carbon filter?Supposedly superior odor elimination over carbon filters Look here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwiNUkjL1Dk As you can see they resemble carbon filters (they're part carbon filter actually). The only question is...can they run 24 hours a day for 3 weeks? Anyone tried them?

Grow tent Temperature I have a 90cmx90cmx60cm grow tent with a VIPARSPECTRA 300W LED Grow Light inside.. How much will an extraction fan and carbon filter bring down the temp inside? In this heatwave my tent is running at 33 deg C, no plants seeded yet. Will the fan be enough or should I get a cooler?

Subterranean fans on 24/7 Y or N?Was wanting everyone's thoughts on fans on the ground of my tent being on constantly, I want to try an keep airflow as well as make the stems stronger from the movement but always end up getting leaves that get wind damage. Luckily most tends to be where lolipopping will be.

Autos week 3 veg but only 4 nodes – could humidity swings be the cause?In a 60×60 cm grow box I’m using a single-membrane mist maker with an STC-3028 humidity controller. Even with the exhaust fan at the lowest speed, RH swings every 2–3 min (67%→63% in ~90s, then back in ~90s). Is this fluctuation OK? My plant has only 4 nodes in week 3 of veg.
