MarijuanaMiyagi, I am using FoxFarm, and the schedule calls for a flush every four weeks or so. I am using cococoir which apparently needs to be flushed to wash the excess salts. My ph on everything is about 7. I tried lowering it, but didn't have any luck. I've had to water the plants daily now since it gets very hot in Southern California, and usually by the middle of the day, the pots have lost much of the moisture.

Why are you flushing at this point? Did you have a nutrient lockout? When I water I use 10-12 liters of water in my 5 gallon fabric pots. I will pour in a little over a liter ar a time giving 5-7 minutes for that to soak down in. It is usually just enough to fully soak pot while giving me about a liter of runoff. Never have issues with salt buildup, nutrient lockouts, etc. Just make sure your 6.5 ph and proper levels of feed for each week of flower.

Heat shock from heat matrasse.Heat mat overheating 30C° and burning seedlings. Leaves look crispy now. Removed the mat from under and just layed onto the side of my propagator tent. Temp now 27C°. Red pattern at the bottom of the leafNoticed the appearance of this red pattern at the bottom of my leaf. Could this be attributed to plant stress? The new leaves are very green and healthy, so I am thinking this red pattern is associated with some stress the plant suffered in the early stages of development.

Do these burnt edges look like heat stress or a nutrient issue?I noticed this browning on the edges of two fan leaves this morning. The affected leaves were right next to the space heater that runs all night (cold basement!), so I *think* it’s probably heat burn/stress. But don’t want to ignore a potentially more serious issue.
