First time growing autos! Peet pods, yay or nay?

Are peet pods alright for autos? Or straight in to potting mix? I read to put them directly into 5 gallon containers, transplanting stresses them too much some times, but is placing them in peet pods then directly in to soil fine/beneficial?

I've personally not had much success with peat pods in general. That said; what you're proposing here should work so long as the roots are not disturbed in the process of transferring them to the final containers.

Personally I would plant autos directly into their final pot (5 gal) if you want the biggest plant and most yield you can attain out of them. Yes stress like transplanting will cause shock and send your auto into flower early. The longer you can stay in veg the bigger plant you will have

Nay—- I hate peat pods. Too much moisture. I’ll use a root riot on occasion to germinate—- but for the most part. I’ll still do a solo for an auto! Only nothing and just plant in a 3 gallon. For the solo, make sure to use myco and bacterial! Good luck! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Personally, I’ve had good germination success with peat pucks. Just don’t drench em with water and use a dome until they sprout. However, with autos it’s generally better to start directly in your final pot as to not stunt any veg growth to get the most yeild.
