The very top of the bud looks a bit lighter than the rest, which is a classic sign of light stress / bleaching rather than genetics. Genetics can sometimes give white tips, but usually the whole plant shows it consistently, not just the area closest to the light.
1350 PPFD at the canopy before raising the light - that is definitely on the high side and could easily cause bleaching, especially right at the top cola.
Now you’ve adjusted and are sitting at 950–1000 PPFD. That’s a much safer zone for mid-to-late flower (Day 49). Many growers aim for 900–1050 PPFD in flower with good CO₂ and environmental control. Without added CO₂, 850–950 PPFD is often ideal to avoid stress.
👉 Based on your plant’s stage (Day 49, about week 7), 950–1000 PPFD is fine as long as:
-Temps are under control (26–28°C lights on).
-RH is balanced (40–50% this late into flower).
-You keep enough airflow around the canopy.
My advice:
-Keep your light at the current height (950–1000 PPFD).
-Watch for new bleaching at the tops - if it spreads, lower to ~850–900 PPFD.
The slightly bleached tip won’t recover, but the rest of the bud will fatten up fine. I hope that helps! 😘
