Cmh is a good alternative to hid. At 600 watts, is almost equivalent to a 1000 watt MH and HPS. full spectrum or blue lighting for veg can be purchased. If you go with LED I would go with the absolute best you can afford for big hard nuggies at harvest. Don't buy lower end or disappointment will be your reward... Cheers

Light intensity My plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.

Bad idea?Will a mars hydro TS1000 be too strong for a 60x60x140cm tent? I have been using a TS600 and TS1000 in tandem in a tent 4x too big for the light level, I have been growing strong and tasty buds but with low yields so downsizing my tent size to maximise the light.

These Bruce Banner #5 Fem plants stretched 3 x the size after switching.. 630w lights were at 100% 1st 2 weeks of 12/12 now @ 80% for last 2 weeks I've cable tied the lights to the tent bars and they still stretched within 3 or 4 inches. I turned lights to 80% now @ 850ppfd on top 700's mid. Week 5 of 12/12. Will I be Ok ? Any suggestions ? not seeing any bad news yet ! Been within inches for 2 weeks. Leaves mostly prayin

Should i raise the lamp to force the strech?I had the light the past few weeks 30cm over the plant on 100% wich has 930ppfd in 20h duration it was all together 65 DLI. Does anyone have experience with colas that have been severely light deprived, yet still have trichs?My ghost nug grew up on the side of the tent blocked from light. She has trichs, looks super light yellow (see pics). My question is, wouldn't this be desirable? Less chlorophyll to wait on before smoking? Has anyone tried to maybe light deprive parts of their colas?

Autoflower light schedule Soon rolling into veg for my first auto grow. Currently on an 18/6 light schedule using Mars Hyrdo II 700w . Don’t have any problems with temp/humidity inside tent. Once you notice the buds starting to flower do you switch to 12/12 or just keep plugging away with 18/6?
