How long can I let this go for?

Trichomes are still not where I want them to be. My flush has been just over 2 weeks. Maybe timed it too early. How much longer can I let this plant go for with the leaves in this condition?

Still has quite a few clearish trichomes I would want to cloud up, but I don't see myself feeling comfortable letting it go past this weekend. It's close though so I'm sure it should be like 80% cloudy by then. My question was how long the plant is ok to leave growing assuming I never get the cloud I want. Not specifics of what to look for.

Always check the strains recommended grow time and use that as a guide to around the time you should harvest. Not every pheno of that strain is going to grow the exact same and be ready at the same time...but generally speaking they will be relatively close to the breeders stated seed to harvest time. Your strain has a 55-60 day seed to harvest time.

Seriously though, you are way past you harvest time for that strain. Your running the risk of the older growth having very amber trichomes and a very sleepy high. Not to mention your evaporating all your terpenes the farther you let her go. And they WILL eventually start growing nanners and try to reproduce if you let them go any longer. If you are looking at the trichomes on the tops and new growth, then you are being misinformed by your plant. The new growth is going to have clear trichomes still that will mature through the drying and curing stage. You want to check the bottom to middle of your buds for the trichomes and if they are amber or not.

Look over some other people that grew that strain and see if their trichs turn amber. I have had strains that fox tailed to hell waiting for trichs to amber, and they never did. Some strains don't. I myself go by 90% cloudy trichs. This is when the plant is at its highest thc level. When 20 to 30% have ambered, it's only the effect that changes, not the thc levels. Cheers
