Where exactly should the uv light be placed? Is it possible to place it between two spotlights? Or is it better at the ends of the lamps? What uv light do I need for a space of 1m2? I'm very lost, help please! Thank you!

Hi mate, This is something I have been planning on using for my own grows. Just never had the cash to buy the fitting. The solar cure and migro light UV-b light fixtures will be perfect for a 1mx1m. Its a 2ft light, sitting at the top of your tent. About 2ft from canopy. Using the light for a max 2hrs in the middle of the light schedule, in the last three weeks of flowering...only!. You are trying to simulate high noon sun. You are right with your suspicions, UVB is dangerous so you should never open your tent while the light is on. It will damage your plants if too much is used. Check out Bruce Bugbee of Apogee Instruments on you tube. He is a professor from Utah state University that has done a lot of research on this matter...Lots of videos about light on his page. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing. Light Science Has anyone watched some Youtube videos by Dr Bruce Bugbee from Apogee Instruments? I find his lectures on lighting to be the most straight forward explanations I have heard yet. I found his vid called "The New 400-750 nm ePAR Range Explained with Dr. Bruce Bugbee" to be eye opening on lighting colours. I have changed my LED's based on a few of his vids. He explains what plants really want and those Burple lights just don't cut it. For those that don't know he is a professor at the University of Utah that legally studies cannabis growth. He takes the science of weed grow to a whole new level.

How to make stronger smell and flavour in DWC grows?Hi guys. Just harvested my second ever harvest, and 2nd time with DWC. Light Intensity Hi there! Last week I discovered that plants were very droopy. It was end of the day cycle so I dimmed the lights around 400 ppfd. Normally I would give easily 700-800 for 18 hours. Why is that happening now. Is it that my co2 ppm is very low? is it genetics?
