Does the flowering period count from the day you flip to 12/12 or the day you first start seeing pistils?
I have found only conflicting info on when to start timing an 8 week flowering period.

I would go by the day you see the plant starting its pre-flowers. In anyway you'll need to look at the trichome heads to really determine when it's time to harvest. But for the sake of documenting your grow most people will start week 1 of flower the day they switch to 12/12.

@masterof101010 you will always find conflicting opinions regarding this question However many breeders will Go on the moment the plant shows it's preflowers rather than photo period change Hope this answers your question mate

Topping or LST after 1st toppingLast week I topped this little baby, the plant now is growing ok. I noticed that not only the two top side branches are growing a lot, but that the ones on the node under it too.

For the folks that use Oregon's only nutrients, i know they say ph should be 6.4 for calcium to be best absorbed but does that still apply in coco substrates? I been slowly swinging my ph up and down over a few waterings to try to get the best range of absorption.Week 7
