Quite a few female growers that are active on here! My wife grows as well, but doesn't have an account! Maybe this will be the nudge she needs to start one. What do you think,

Removing of Big Leafs in Flower Phase ????
Does it make sense to remove large leaves in the flowering phase to give the plant the opportunity to send more energy into the flowers or should you leave the larger leaves on because the plant also photosynthesises through them.

Defoliation Autoflower
Hey fellow growers, How should I approach defoliation with autoflowers during flowering? I'm thinking of removing lower leaves, especially near the soil. I prefer to be cautious to avoid mistakes. Reddit wasn't helpful as it seemed too critical. I hope for better insights here.

Serious problem with small buds.
This is my diary https://growdiaries.com/diaries/198497-white-critical-express-super-silver-haze-grow-journal-by-italy-grower the pistils are turning orange and the buds are small, maybe not enough room? Too much PK? Is it really a serious problem? What can I do? Some advice?

Should I defoliate or remove the small buds on the outside and inside? Do you have any tips or suggestions that I could implement?
Hey everyone. This is my very first grow. It's a RQS Green Gelato Auto, 56 days old, hydroponic (RTW), 19 hours light under AC Infinity EVO3 280W at about 24/25 degrees, growing still 2cm a day and she drinks 4l nutrient solution in 24 hours I have been defoliating since week 3

Some guidance for ScrOG please
@22cm & preflowering for about 4-5 days. Haven't noticed any stretching (~2-3cm) When do I start with the ScrOG and at what height should one set the net ? Also curious about defoliation: Right now, I keep tucking the fan leaves under the smaller ones. BB (left),Tangie (right)

Defoliation (no horizontal room in my tent and a lot of vertical room)
This may seem like a dumb question but is cutting these small lower branches off going to promote vertical growth in my plants? I will be doing it later on anyways to eliminate larf but would it be more beneficial now or is it worth to keep to take in light energy for now

Northern Lights Auto, quite short and bushy, fan leaves shielding light - should I defoliate?
First time grower with a quite short Northern Lights Auto in week 6. The fan leaves seem to shield a lot of light from the inner leaves, also touching ground. Should I trim the fan leaves? Or should I keep them, since it already seems stressed enough for it's short lifeโฆ

I've created a fairly flat canopy but I have all this new growth a few nodes down from the top that just is not getting any light. I am not sure if I should leave it since its fairly close to the top or remove it.

Defoliation late in flower on Auto's
I like to defoilate, If I were to pick majority of the fan leaves off of these plants being Auto's, will they react or stress too much? I like to defoil near the end of flower to really push all the focus to the budsites. Happy Growing!

Remove leaves from auto?
Should I remove fan leaves from my auto flower? I wonder since it is so crowded, I worry a bit that the leaves are pressing against the buds. But maybe that isn't a problem? I've read that removing leaves is unnecessary and stressful for the plant.
