I would take all of them out , why have them taking nutrients and water ? And you risk more mould issues , can I be honest and say it would be quicker and better to start again 👍

Cover crops are usually used in a big pot of no till organic soil to add extra nitrogen and feed the worms/microbes after you chop it down and mulch it. If you're not doing notill there's probably not much benefit. It might take some root space and nutrients from the plants, but otherwise probably no harm in leaving them in if you want.

See I was under the impression that its helpful but for outdoor grows mainly. You don't want other plants taking up your cannabis root space. You could put lavender, basil or coriander around in separate pots to detere pests away.

Just take a few of those big ones out because there roots system will be bigger than the cloves. That set up would be perfect for a 10 gallon container. Plant looks good so far but I don't run cover crop with cannabis. This website will explain everything. https://www.growweedeasy.com/cover-crops-companion-plants-for-growing-weed-good-or-bad-idea

Heey BOSSANOVA, Nice to see you are experimenting with companion planting. I've not tried it before but have been thinking about this as well. Recently I found this section on the RQS website: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/48-companion-planting Maybe it's of use to you, maybe you've seen it already. Keep us updated in how this works out! Would be interested to know if you can keep fungus gnats out woth companion planting.
