Is it fine to use a carbon filter that can handle twice the capacity of the airflow my fan can produce? Or will the fan have trouble ventilating the tent then?

As long as your carbon filter can handle your airflow your good. If it can handle more then it will be better on your fan as it will not have to work as hard to push the air through it. Carbon Filter CFM > Fan CFM = good to go

How do I drop my RH down when nothing works? Check Diary. Will defoliation be a good idea? Open tent door and leave it open?My 2x2 is starting to crowd. This is driving the RH to over 70%. Should I defoliate to help with crowding and RH? Or should I just leave it alone? RH in lung room is 48% Exhaust fan, high or low with a dehumidifier, doesn't work. What should I do? Defoliate? ventilation for a 4x8 ? basically is that too much negative pressure and if so should I get anther intake ?currently using a 200mm inline exhaust fan that has 914 m3/h(537,9 cfm) max currently using it at its medium setting of 792 m3/h(466,15 cfm) and using a 125 mm inline intake fan with only 330 m3/h (194,23 cfm). Should I get anther intake fan or should I put the exhaust to low 680

Carbon filter sleeve needed?I use the carbon filter on the exhaust side. On the intake side, I have a dust screen mesh. The tent is quite clean so that’s why I don’t see the need of the pre filter. Would also probably load the inline fan a bit too. What’s you thought?

Currently using a 4x8 tent in a garage that is dusty. would getting a extra intake be better for my plants?Currently using a 200mm inline exhaust with a max cfm of 537,96 and using a intake with a max cfm of 194. currently using the exhaust on medium setting so 466 cfm. would it be better for my plants to get more air from outside with a new but small intake of about 128 cfm ?

I am facing a temperature problem again....My tent reaches 84.2F, which is too hot in my opinion. But my humidity is perfect. On the other hand, if I activate the ventilation, the temperature of the tent reaches 76F, which is perfect, but the humidity level drops dramatically to 35%. 1- Keep Humidity or 2-Keep Temp

My question is, should I be exhausting the air from the tent outside or into the room. If i exahust the air outside, isn't it counter productive to the A/C?

Why is my RH so high?Inline Fan: S&P TD-350/125 Silent (in use) AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6 (not in use, but testet) Filter: Can Lite Filter 300m³/h Transformator: SCNR5 (in use on setting 4/5) Tent: 2x4x6 ft, i get 70-80%+ RH inside My Room is at 45-50% RH with a temp of 60-70°F. Tried mini dehumid. still issues with portable ac (added @ 9pm 6/2) see pic for graph Avg RH was 45%,had spikes @ 80% RH in dark, added portable ac to my tent. It raised avg. RH not lowered. Intake @ 40% RH that runs on a humidity cont. set @45%Now Day RH ~52%, Night RH ~60%.Ac starts RH spikes to 70% in dark. WTF am I doing wrong. Id hate to lose it to mold.
