Lack of oxygen in the root zone. Make sure your water is about 20 degrees Celsius. 3% hydrogen peroxide in water mix will add oxygen to roots. Adding an air stone to feed air to roots constantly is probably the best idea. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing

are the roots slimey or just brown. Some Nutrient can stain your roots brown. if it is slimey then it can be caused by lack of bubbles. Water temperature above 70f can caise it. light leaks are the main causes.

Root problem or not?I would like to know if this discolouration because of the clay pebbles sitting constantly in the DWC pool and colouring the roots or from nutrients or is this a root problem? There is no slimy thing or bad smell or stunt growth which can be detected.

DWC - Roots look badHi guys, this autoflower is 44 days from dry seed, flowering begins 3 weeks ago. It's drinking around 0.5 lt every 2 or 3 days, not so much compared to my old autoflowers. I checked roots and I saw this, they look "fried" and brown. Should I remove it? Can I get a decent result?

Should I quit, and start over? Still not out if it's root rot or just coloration from the larvea. Hydroponicshad larvea infestation. Used h2o2, 2 days later my roots looked like photo #1. Now 4 days later, same roots look like #2. Had pH problems. lowered now. Gon look if its stable tomorrow. They should be ready to flip now. All other pics are also from today. Should I continue?

Help with DWCHelp. Need it for DWC. Why are my roots turning brown. They just look weak and not so strong. I can touch them and know they are not healthy. Running 4 buckets with 4inch airstones. I'm nowhere near an expert. Just still learning. I've done a DWC before,never problems .

I added 10ml of 3% H2O2 inside the DWC through the control tube, after a few seconds there was a strange chemical reaction.

Root rot?Roots are brown but don't feel slimy and give off no odour. New root growth is virgin white. Could it be discoloration from the nutrient solution or is it the dreaded root rot? pH is constant 5.9-6.1...I added 5mL/gallon hydrogen peroxide to be safe
