Root rot?

Should I be worried? Is this a beginning of root rot? This one may go in a week to a bigger pot.

The brown colouration is from the air drying the roots out. The roots have developed a kind of "callous" due to being exposed to the air. Nothing to worry about, all will be well once you transplant her. This should be done sooner rather than later, by the way. Hope this helps.... Organoman.

It looks like it could be the start of something potentially bad, but you can sort that out easily - when you transplant, perhaps try a soil innoculant, make sure you have good drainage, some beneficial fungi like mycorrhizae or trichoderma (or both!) and those roots will be happy again! Good luck fellow grower!

It’s not the beginning of root rot, but it is an indication that it’s time to transplant to a bigger pot. I would do this ASAP so it doesn’t get stunted from root blockage. Cheers💨
