It's normally around the 4-5th node (sets of leaves) if it's a auto I wouldn't do it because they don't have time to recover properly.

You could top it now if you wanted but if you wanna play safe, wait for one more node pair to grow and then top.

Too late to top these autos? I'm at the end of 3rd week.Should I have topped this one a couple days ago? These girls have been very vigorous. Should I defoliate after topping with LST ?I just did my first topping and she took it very well, no signs of stress and actually growing really fast I think.
I was thinking about LST the top colas so the lower ones can reach that height, should I cut the top leaves shadowing the lower future colas?5y ago

Bottom leaves yellowish - why? And can I top?On both of my plants (C99 & S.A.D.) the bottom leaves are turning yellowish and I can't figure out why. 3 weeks in. Fan leaves the size of my hand. Topped today. How long until 2nd topping?Directly planted seeds in organic living soil. These plants are vigorously growing, topped today. By the way things are going I believe that the recovery time will be very short.
All organic ingredients. De chlorinated water with vitamin c.

Top now or wait? Growing 4th node.I'm about a week into veg, plants look to be about 4-6 inches tall. Most are going into their 4th node. Should I wait longer or is now a good time?
