iPower Bud Trimmer/Dry trimming

Hi grow fam! Do any of you fabulous people own the iPower bud trimmer (pic)? If so, how well does this work to dry trim? there's lots of wet trimming videos with that device but that's not really our thing... thanks in advance for any input guys! ❤️💡🌱😽💨

Similar to the machine trimmers. Can do either wet or dry. I find wet trim and even dry in the bowl or machine, damages your bud. If I have nice budded tight flowers, I try to get through it by hand trimming. Preserves the taste and smell the best. I put all the smaller stuff through the machine trimmer to save some time.

I would never use such a thing. Many trichomes would be lost!
Unless you are growing kilos and kilos of cannabis, trimming by hand is the best incomparable method.

I don't own one but I have heard mixed reports about it. Can understand using one if wet trimming. I dry trim and use a silicone pastry brush. Works a treat. Good luck and happy growing

Trichomes don’t matureI’m flushing slowly, has been almost two week now. Just water with PH between 6.5 and 6.8. The plant seems ready, pistils are brown for 70%, yellow leaves are dropping off, but I don’t get why trichomes are still transparent, they aged slowly compared to the rest. Is it normal?

Different Phenotypes?2 plants from the same seed type purchased together. They look really different. I thought the one with the swollen calyxes was hermed, but research said otherwise. But one has trichomes and decent smell while the other has faint smell and no trichomes to speak of. Thoughts?

Colas to close to each other?I am a little bit worried about the colas growing quite close to each other, and quite dense (the side branches are basically all start to grow into the main bud of the cola). These have been grown in 91 degree heat for their entire time growing. I can't change that the heat killed off some trichomes. But what is your opinion on the doneness of the trichomes that are there? If the pics are not clear enough I can use my real camera versus my phone. THX

Main versus secondary maturingThis secondary lower buds seem to be maturing faster than the main colas. The pistils are turning dark faster on the lower than the upper. Not by much, but it's noticeable. Maybe a week or so? BUT, should I take the secondary buds first and leave the main colas to mature more?

Shoukd i Harvest the Mimosa Auto?Hi! I don't know when to harvest the Minosa Auto. On the Website of RQS it is written that after 10 Week the plant is ready to harvest. Some of the older leaves shown a high amount of amber trichomes. But the Buds dont't look like at their maximum of growth.
