Hi I’m new & was wondering what size pots to use for auto flowering? I 1st thought 12ltrs would be big enough but now I think bigger. I have a 600w dual spectrum & my tent size is 1.2x1.2. I was planning 4 maybe five barneys farm purple punch auto if they all pop: thanks

What is the light your using please? Is it led or hps and if led what brand I wouldn't do more than 4 in a 1.2 tent you will also need to have fans filters for smell and temperature control This is an expensive hobby and my electric is costing £8 a day some days and I worked out the cost for full cycle to be around £360 just in electric costs im also quite new so we can help each other are you in the UK

I would say a minimum of 5gal fabric pots for the best yields possible for autos. I do autos in final pots and plant seed directly in soil.

12L should be good. Probably irrigate every ~3 days, possibly 2days toward end. You could go a bit larger if you find convenience in a bit more time between irrigations. probably won't impact size of plant, though. 5 likely fits, but may get crowded in middle.. and the formation pots plants in corners which is not as good as along wall. some training can easily fix that. autos vary is size like any other plant.. but if you overshoot you can always prune and maybe wasted a few days, but if undersize it's a proportionally larger loss of yield in many context.

12 liter fabric pots are what I use for small to medium size auto's and I'll move up to a 19 liter if it's a plant known for getting big.
