placement of sensor for humidity/temperature

Where should I place the sensor for humidity/temperature? I see huge differences depending on the spot, I have placed the sensor now slightly below the top leaves - above the lamp directly hits and it has 4 degrees (celsius) more!

At same time , few month ago Ultraviolet said that he monitors at 3 levels. I had one at top of canopy and one around roit zone. Plus in few corners. I grew in tin can aka static , so was needing extra monitoring.

Reducing PPM without changing water in hydro Thanks all for guidance on my previous question. As a follow up, can PPM be lowered by reducing feeding until they hit the right range? Currently 1500ppm but seems this is too high. Currently following the AdvancedNutrients plan.

Help in understanding instrument readings for hydro I'd like to undertand what the importance or significance of these numbers are, and if they indicate issues to resolve: Hydro - 30 litre reservoir ph: 5.91 - pretty sure that's in the perfect range for hydro ppm 1502 - no idea μS/cm - 3195 - no idea humidity 41% Temp: 21 - 36c

RH 90% during Flowering!I have a problem with RH. I am at the 3rd week of Flowering and I'm struggling to keep my RH down. Today it was 90% when I opened the grow box. I have access only to a window. Is it better to suck air inside or blow the exhausted air out? I can't do both

Pre run test showing high temp and low humidity,Hello,I have pre run to test the temps and humidity on my first one ,i run a 600w hps in a 1x1x2 tent with 5 inch rvksileo extract my temps at at 35c and my humidity below 30 despite setting for 55% would a test without a plant be false ? Should i drop to 400 ?

What should be plugged into the digital timer?Currently, I have the timer plugged into the wall outlet, then to the powerstrip, but this doesn't seem feasible. I have lights, exhaust, fan, and humidifier connected to the powerstrip, so everything shuts off when the timer is off. Is this the norm?

Where to measure RH in a grow tent?When measuring RH within a grow tent where is best location hydrometer to record an accurate reading? I have 3 all calibrated together and placed at canopy, between light and canopy, and above light. There is a 20% difference between all three readings. I’m now in flower.

Ph of the soil Ph of the soil, I checked with this 2 ph meter but I dont know the credibility, if that work.. I see that is around 8.0 but I use water at 6.0ph and soil light mix biobizz, bio grow ,calmag , bio heaven. Are biology shouldn't change the ph.. how is possible? Advise?

I was struggling with low humidity, now I can’t keep it below 70%.Hi! Since upgrading my 4 girls into new 3 gallon pots & giving them a good water the humidity levels in the tent have soared to over 70% Will this reduce as they drink all the water in the pots? Can I use Smart Water to mix up ph powder calibration solutions?Cant find deionized water where I live to mix up my ph powder solutions and be confident they are correct. I used generic distilled water before but later realized it was not neutral at 7.0 ph. So long story short google says Smart Water is 6.98 ph, Think I can use it instead?
