An inch won't make too much of a difference. Since you haven't transplanted, could just dig the hole a little less deep and fill in around it.
as long as crates don't block light, it shouldn't be a problem.

Critical Purple Auto in COCO: close to harvest.Triches still clear, most pistils have ambered. Picked up a digital microscope to check for the cloudy triches coming. Once I hit 50% cloudy, I am thinking of flushing for 4-5 days followed by a day of darkness . Any advice on feeding and flushing in these last couple of weeks?Week 12

Flushed too soon or right time?Hi growers, my last water is today for flush before harvest. Should i have given it an extra week or two? 2 seedlings grew in a pot, they have different story, which one to keep? Original Gorilla Auto seedling was pulled out by a bird and then I placed it back, but it was traumatized and struggling.
I planted the last seed that came nicer and is growing.
Is it worth to remove the traumatised one and keep just the newer?

The buds stopped growing?I didnt notice any growing for around a week, the buds have the same tiny size and nothing changes.

Ventilation. For 2x2 help please, do i need a carbon filter set up? Myco or not?Does it make sense to use expensive Myco in coco/Perlite mix when using
mineral nutrients (Ghe) ? I mean , they are gone after your first flush.
Spend crazy money for only the veg period, I don't see it!
Growing in soil is a different story.
