When should I switch my diary over to flowering?

When do I switch my diary over to flowering? When the first pre-flowerers show? When the first buds start forming? What do you guys do?

If you're growing photoperiod you change the diary when you change to 12-12
If you're growing automatic when you see the pistils growing.

@Bergbok, I would say when you first start seeing signs of flower. I wouldn’t wait till flowers are forming. Once I see flower signs, pistils forming etc, that’s week 1 flower. Good luck Growmie 😎🌱💨

Trichome Advice--Cloudy enough to stop giving nutes??I'm trying to figure out when I should stop giving nutes. I've read 1-2 weeks before harvest when the trichomes turn Amber. My question is: Based on these trichomes, when would you stop giving nutes? Do they look cloudy enough to stop now? Or should I wait until I see amber?

Harvest/Partial Harvest tomorrow, or leave it unattended for 7 days over Christmas?So let me preface this by saying that I'd LOVE to come home to some dried weed, ready for curing, but I don't want a subpar bud. My original plan was to chop tomorrow before I leave town, but many trichs still look clear (I think), w/ a few amber. Advice? More pix/info in diary!

Flushing before harvest? Really? Any good science evidence to support or just commonly held belief?Is flushing the last two weeks something that really affects flavor/quality of harvested flower?
