I’ve just recently bought a blue lab EC pen and I tested my nutrient feed which came to 0.8 EC & temp 24c then I tested the runoff and it came out as 1.0 EC, is this a good? Any info will be great as this is my first time testing for EC.

I started testing my runoff too after many lockouts. From what I know, it's not a good sign. It could mean that salt build ups have formed in the root zone and have been dissolving in the water as it passes through the soil. If on the contrary, it was lower, it would've meant that the nutrients stayed in the soil, a good sign. I now give water twice before feeding and don't seem to have that problem anymore.

BioThrive Fertilizer Water pH & PPMI tested my BioThrive Bloom+CaMg fert water for the first time ever today; I've been feeding 4.5 pH & 340 ppm fert water solution; Soil pH is 6.7-ish per the Rapitest meter. Should I add pH up solution to make the fert water 6.2pH? What if the soil pH increases over 6.7?
