I want to do some controlled pollination but prevent pollen from blowing to other branches while doing it. Anybody ever tried mixing pollen with water and pouring that water over the buds. I also wonder if it could be frozen in this form if it works.

Water kills pollen so unfortunately that wont work. It is best to put the pollen in a bag and tie it around the bud yiu want to pollinate and shake the bag. Just leave your fans off for a while after doing it so right before lights out is a good time. Unfortunately there is always a risk of pollinating more buds however you do it. Some strains like to go hermie after they are pollinated also so keep an eye out for pollen sacs after pollinating

If u frozen your polen lost the properties so no u can't frozen polen :)
And water is not good idea too

@SortOfNovice I wouldn't do it like that mate But what you can do is make sure there is isn't any wind blowing or fans running etc etc You can pollinate just one bud and cover it with a breathable cloth bag for 24 hours then you can safely remove the bag. Just that bud will be pollinated giving you lots of seeds and the rest of the crop will be seedless sinsemilla. you can also do many cross polinations on the one plant if you have multiple male pollen donors just use the same technique so as to not accidentlly pollinate buds you don't want seeded. You can freeze pollen as long as you remove all of the green material first Some breeders mix their pollen with a little flour so that it is easier to work with. Should I do a pre harvest defoliation a week before harvest?What are the benefits and consequences of defoliating a week before harvest? Is it good or bad?
