Hello Interalia666, your girl is looking great. I get your question, its al about choices you make on how you raise your girl. Indicas or more indica leniant strains love to being defoliated unlike most of the sativas. So your glue would be fine if you did so. Ypi only want to defoliate where is makes sense and adds to a better envirement for your girl. It may be to increase airflow, lower humidity and or get better lighting through your canopy. My advice is do it where its needed and keep in mind that the best time to do it in flower is the 3rd week of flower. In veg you can do it multiple times just not in the week when you put her into flower. Hope this was an helpfull answer. Keep on growing my friend. Peace 👍🏾

Hi @Interalia666! Some plants won't let you no other choice. Bushy plants with big indica-style shaped leaves will create a lot of shades onto lower bud sites and might lead to humidity issues. Defoliation is awesome when done correctly, but it could be a nightmare if done too much or at the wrong time. Before removing a leaf, I always ask myself: is this leaf really blocking the light? For how many nodes / bud sites? How close are the next leaves? How healthy is this leaf? Is humidity an issue, may the buds suffer from the humidity generated by the leaf? You should make your own experiments and see how it goes. Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information, and happy growing! 👊

Yes but you already done this I would not touch plant for at least another two weeks. Or if about to flower do another session at the end of week 3 of flower. When u have light on the floor instead of canopy or plant light is being wasted. But looks like you know what you are doing. But me yah!

Looks good in my eyes, but keep that leaves you have on your plant. Defoliation makes sense to keep the area clean under a ScroG net or when you got too much leaves which can cause mold. Let her grow like she is at the moment, switch to flower in a few days and you should bee good. Defoliate another time if needed in week 3 or 4 of flowering.

I like it. You aren't growing fan leaves you are growing buds! You defoliated a little more aggressively than I would have but it looks really good. The middle is going to fill out a well. The point of veg is to get the plant prepped for flower and your training is great. I would suggest giving her a week before flipping to flower to allow her to recover from stress. I like to do my last defoliation around F14, to clean up anything I missed when I prepped her for the flower tent, then it's all about keeping the stress low. 👊

They do needs leaves to convert light + water + co2 into sugar (starch) + o2 . It actually depends on the plant structure and the type of strain. I personally always plug off the small fluffy popcorns in the bottom on every strains.

10 growers will give you 10 different answers. I tried it and didnt like it. I only defoliate when there are stacks of leaves right on top of each other that leaves them wet, after all only the one at the top will get any light. I don't defoliate just so light reaches buds, but. Best advice is to try and make your mind about the topic.
