Could I please get some help or more information on when to start harvesting? I clipped off the top third of my plant believing that it’s time to harvest, but I’m not exactly sure how to tell. I think I’m just getting antsy and want to start drying and curing already.

The trichomas and their therpenoids & cannabinoids suffer so much from light and heat, so if you want to smoke nice buds, please check any guide to dry & curing procedure to have the best effect and taste from your weed.
The only effective way to know when to cut a plant is when you check the bud trichomas, dont check the sugar leaves from the buds because they'll mature earlier than the bud itself.
When you do the best to grow your plants you want the BBT as I like to say (Big, Beautiful, tasty) so every part of the grow and dry&cure will have a massive impact of the quality you get, so imho you need to have patience.

Harvest when your plant has about 95% brown pistils, this is when there will be peak THC levels.
Also, dry your flowers in the dark, exposing trichomes to light while drying will cause the THC to breakdown.

Your buds hevent swelled yet and you can clearly see they have a lot of white hairs left , plus you will propably havent even got any milky trychomes wich will result in a non psychoactive high but a headrush that is not longlasting .
And also ---->GET YOUR HARVESTED BUDS THE HELL OUT OF YOUR GROWROOM !

I think you went early, and/or you had some issues in the grow that reduced yield and overall outcome.. if that’s the case done be discouraged and try again.
Overall tho, let it go another week or two and see what happens

Well I am in the last 7-10 of my plants harvest and I go by what I see , and what my preference is , 80 to 85% milky (cloudy ) resin heads and 15 to 20% amber.... if you see just c,ear to cloudy give it more time ....

You are still bulking. The bud you harvested early may have negative side effects. Best ti buy a jeweler's loupe with 60 x magnification to inspect trichromes on buds. When most the white pistils are gone it is about a week or two after that.

Do you let it dry out so the pot is nice and light before you harvest? Or is a little moisture left in the soil ok? Did last flush 48 hrs ago and I'm itching to chop her down, but still slightly damp soil

I currently have 2 plants growing. 1 of them has clearly bloomed faster and I will have to harvest it earlier.
Because I have only one grow box and I don't know where to dry it. Can I put them somewhere for two weeks to wait for the 2nd one?

To now 16.6c 51%rh.

Drying - I've tried it all!Drying, I cut each stem, hang from net, no fans on just extraction on timer every 2 hours for 30 mins. Temps held solid between 18-19 degrees and minimal trim removed beforehand. I can still notice the smell fading and a hay like one taking over. Does anyone have any advice?Week 11

What’s up guys just harvested my gelato! My dry room sits at 20-25c and 40-55%. I’ve cut all big fan leaves off and hung it all up. In two days I plan to completely trim and then re hang to finish drying. Does that sound like a good idea? Any tips are appreciated. Many thanks!Week 14
