There is no need to drown the bejeezus out of your plant (24-36litres!!), the idea is to get your plant to consume any residual nutrients and without adding any new nutrients. Therefore, all you have to do is to water as normal, in normal amounts for the last 7-14 days (10 is ideal). This way your plant will "clean" itself of all residual nutrient salts in its system and this is the entire goal of "flushing". It is not an exercise in drowning, this just leads to hyper moisture in the buds come harvest time, leading to possible problems when drying, most notably, bud rot. Flushing could also be renamed "nutrient witholding period" as this is all that is required, it is not an exercise in flooding the life out of everything. Hope this helps, Organoman.

@organoman thanks for reply, this helped a lot i did think the 24-36 litres was a bit crazy, i was thinking of just giving twice the normal watering amount so about 2.5- 3 litres, trying to store 25 litre would be really difficult for me atm. but i do like the idea of just normal watering for last days of its life

If it's final weeks flush - no, but better go with a bit higher than recommended to your grow medium, for soil I go with 6.8 - 7.0 , but it's not so important, dechlorination still stays huge factor. Good luck !

I went for pot size, because I had summer and outdoors, indoor is easy to drown your plant, maybe it's correlation of that.

growdiaries.com/diaries/52015-royal-gorilla-royal-cookies-grow-journal-by-asnoriu/week/314434 Have a look, I made video, but sometimes I was blessed to chop in summer, when I could put 50-70 liters of water through each ,20 liters at that time, pot. They had time and space to drain out before returning to grow room. Think we're, how and do it ! All the Best !
