However, many grower's here discourage it completely for autos.

Mainline/Manifold: Trimming fan leaves after done with topping.Finishing up the topping portion of mainlining. P2 to be Nebula-Haze style and P3 to be Nugbuckets style. I'll be trimming growth tips other than from the 8 cola sites on each. Still keep un-shaded fan leaves below those levels? A lot online shows all lower fan leaves trimmed

Topped the same way with 2 different results?? First time growerI tried to top 2 plants in the same way but one main shoot stopped growing, but the other had two new growths come right out of the old stem, as well as 2 bushier side stems.
I am just wondering what I did differently and if both plants should work out fine.

24 days old Is it time to top and start LTS or wait till transplant in 5 Gal fabric potsOk plants are doing well I have 6 layers still only about 3-4 inches tall should I top them now if so where and what should I expect? Topping techinque: 4 main colasI'm approaching topping for the first time. The aim is to get 4 main colas, without FIM.
