Tiny larvae on sticky traps

LazysHomegrowstarted grow question 2 years ago
Can anyone ID these tiny bugs/larvae on my sticky traps? Far smaller than a fungus gnat and they are covering all of the yellow stickies, but there are none on the blue stickies. Tent is finishing flower, and they just started showing up this week on fresh traps.

These are adult springtails. They eat mold and fungus and in turn fertilize the soil. They are beneficial so be glad you have them. They prefer moisture and like light. They can jump an inch and can be blown around by your fan. That’s why you’re seeing them on your sticky traps.

https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/black-worms-in-my-sticky-trap.124678/ I am more convinced its springtails. Same thing happening to this grower. same looking bug on traps. Caterpillars do not bounce nor fly, They can not get into the middle of a stick trap by crawling.

They are so small that it is difficult to get a good picture of them. The concentration seems to be a bit higher at the edges of the traps

I am certain they are bugs. They have very small antennae and all look the same. The yellow and blue large traps are placed at the base of the pots facing upwards, I am noticing them on the small inserts in my pots as well but not in the same quantities. They seem to be swarming the yellow traps on the floor around the base of the pots.

Are you certain its a bug and not debris from the grow? like dirt particles or lint/dust? Don't know where your blue sticky traps are in comparison to the yellow ones. This might rule that out if they are on the same elevation and location inside the tent. I cant distinguish a head, thorax or abdomen. I see no legs or antenna. some of them look to be bent? Not to say they are not bugs, but they look like beard trimming from an electric razor to me. Good Luck.
