No, these are just female calyxes that grow first at the stem nodes as pre flowers/primordia and are not associated with male flowers.
These are completely normal and since they grew some time before true flowering commenced, they are swollen and dried out, hence the strange look to them.
For pictures of male flowers and hermie flowers, go to my diary "cannabis conundrums" and in week 7 you will find them.

Soil problemsSo I have switched my grow medium to soil and perlite from Bat-special. I give my plants 2L of water every 4 days but the soil never holds the water as all of it comes out the bottom. is this normal? there is so much runoff. 2L of water shouldn't be pouring out a 25L pot.

I got to harvest in 14 days: in order to have enough time to cure it before leaving home for 2 weeks (safety first: is a period of floods in here, I just can't take the risk). I had a pretty long vegetative stage but I'm gonna finish it at 13 weeks. Am I gonna ruin it it, right?
