Hello. Colleagues tell me who dealt with the organic CO2 generator? How effective is it? How long does it work (manufacturer writes 9 months). I don't have instruments to measure CO2 levels Maybe someone measured the indicators with instruments? thx.

Hello, as organoman mentioned, if you dont have a closed system with high heat then it is not useful.

You don't need it unless your ppfd ranges are over 1000. It a waste of money.

Honestly, unless you are growing in a sealed/closed system, using CO2 is largely a waste, as most, if not all of it, will get sucked out by your exhaust fan long before it has any chance of being of any use to your plants. But, I guess it doesn't hurt, so may as well use the bags.

Well water PPM/EC looks REALLY high. What to do?I just did a quick test of our well water with a new cheap little meter and found that with our softening system on I hit 267PPM and an EC of 568(!). When I bypass the softening system I end up with 209ppm and and EC of ~450. Am I killin' my own plants?

Is this an RO system?I found this is my basement of our new house and I'm wondering if this is an RO filtration system and if its worth trying to reconnect it as it appears to be bypassed. It does have an electric water softener which I heard you shouldn't use but I'm curious what it is in any case.

Ph rising and then crashes Everything was going fine, until Friday, when her ph shot up, to about 8, added some ph down, brought that down and stabilised @ 5,5 ph - 11pm , @ 6:30 Saturday was in the 4’s, put it in to clean RO water 0ppm - @ 7 pm was high, so changed the water to fresh Ro water with nutrien

Soundproof grow area I made a countertop tent out of mylar and 2x2s. Any tips on what I can hang on the front to dampen the sound of fans and filters? Foam didn't do much so I broke it into smaller pieces to block off the noisy fans and pumps individually. I'd like to isolate the whole thing ideally.

Flip to flower delayed because of extension cord led light. Just a delay or problems ahead?After 1,5 weeks of 12/12h, I started to worry why the plant was not showing any signs of flowering and I decided to get in to the tent to check for any light leaks.
