Hey Skull, I run a SF-2000 in a 2x4x5 and height limit and light intensity are issues I deal with. That said, I'm typically running the recommended heights of 24-30" in veg (consideration given to the cultivars I'm growing). And approximately 18" in flower. Even though the hand temperature feels neutral at 18", it is not the only consideration. So, the SF-2000 I run comes with a dimmer switch that I set to about 80 (about 4/5ths). So, theory, at least in my mind, is this...just b/c you have light power doesn't necessarily mean your plant needs all of it. Gottagrowsometime also brings up an excellent point re plant deficiency and flushing, which has worked for me in the past. Hope this helps gives you an idea of SF-2000 lighting distances for your entire grow.

If by ON the plants you mean around 12 inches from them, well thats prob a bit close for a 2000 light, a 1000 maybe but a 2000 id go at least 14 inches to 18 depending on how yellow the tips are.

That's the start of a potassium deficiency pal/ possible caused by nute lockout. Flush restart nute programme. Works for me every time.

Looks like light bleaching and burn. Light closeness or intensity will depend on stage of growth your plant is in. In vegging around 20 to 30 inches from plant is usually pretty good. In flowering when bulking is going on is when you want the most intense light. In your case with the sf it will likely be around 15 inches from center of light for flowering. I have used a sf-1000, but not the 2000. These distances should be pretty close to where you want your light. Some strains might like more light then others. As your plant grows leaves it will tell you if light is too close or far away if. If leaves get perky, and almost erect as they grow your light is in the sweet spot. Examples of this is my mamba Negra diary, gorilla girl diary in flowering late stages. Hopefully this helps. Happy growing 🌱
