Hey Skull, I run a SF-2000 in a 2x4x5 and height limit and light intensity are issues I deal with. That said, I'm typically running the recommended heights of 24-30" in veg (consideration given to the cultivars I'm growing). And approximately 18" in flower. Even though the hand temperature feels neutral at 18", it is not the only consideration. So, the SF-2000 I run comes with a dimmer switch that I set to about 80 (about 4/5ths). So, theory, at least in my mind, is this...just b/c you have light power doesn't necessarily mean your plant needs all of it. Gottagrowsometime also brings up an excellent point re plant deficiency and flushing, which has worked for me in the past. Hope this helps gives you an idea of SF-2000 lighting distances for your entire grow.
