Yes, far too late, there is no way they would finish outdoors before winter, especially a sativa strain.
About 2 weeks after the equinox (June 21st) is the absolute latest for outdoor plants if you want any sort of reasonable harvest.
Photoperiod plants need to be about 6 weeks old before flowering and then another 10-12 weeks of flowering, meaning your sativa plant would be trying to finish in December and the days are just too short for any meaningful growth at that time of year. I doubt an indica plant would do any better planted that late. BTW, sativas are better at mold resistance due to their more open flower structure, it is dense indicas that suffer the most from mold.
