That really depends on what water you have available but the key is to test/measure so you know what you have. You can't just say city water is bad or well water is good. You have to test it to know.
I have a well and the water has a good level of calcium and magnesium so all I have to do is adjust the pH. If you have city water it might be good once you let the chlorine dissipate. The city water from my local town has VERY high pH and surprisingly high dissolved solids so my well water is better. If the water available is not good enough there are many filtration options to get it under control.

Get a TDS / PPM meter
Check your local water paraneters from the water company.
If you have chlorine then run the water through a refular filter and let it sit for 24 hours to let thw chlorine evaporate.
If you have chloramine that is more difficult to remove.
After your water has sat for 24 hrs pH it to correct level (depending on substrate) and water your plants.
I filter 5L at a time and it lasts a few days with no problems, although I will invest in a water bubbler (fish tank bubbler) next week to keep it more fresh.

If you use Tapwater let it stay for a Day so the Chlorine can evaporate. Also check PH since it could vary to much.
Preferably try to use Rainwater (unless you living next to some Industry i guess).
I would say depending on the water Ph up/downer and a bit of time.

Well you could test your water for dissolved solids, the ppm level. It's its low enough, then I'd say it's fine to use. Some people buy a reverse osmosis system to filter their water and that will take all the solids out. You could also look online for the breakdown of dissolved solids in your town water supply. Where I live it is about 120 ppm, which is on the lower end. I heard California water is 400, which would be considered high and probably better off if you filter it.

Siamese Twin Plant ?I believe what I’m looking at is two plant stems growing side by side each other.
It looks like two stem cores wrapped in the same epidermis. For any plant geeks out there I think it looks like two Xylem potentially sharing a singular cambium and phloem.
