I think most plants take alot longer outdoors regardless of the presence of ruder ralis or not. as the wise saying goes you cant rush mother nature. Though Indoors you are able to control the environment alot better give more potent light and more potent chemicals pushing the plants harder and harder it all goes on your skill level ive seen people pull off perfect autos indoors well withing the 9 weeks from seed to harvest but Ive seen other that can take upto 15 like everything it all goes on you environment.

Based on my experiences, it's not that they mature earlier, in indoor they seem to grow more when they're small, I guess they reach maturity for flowering sooner. But comparing the same strain, that has a big influence, being stable is quite key in this and the flowering weeks of each variety...

Most of the people don't grow outdoors here and have no clue. I know for 100% fact that autos take longer outdoors. Cheers!

they are on a biological timer.. can certain stresses change that timeline, maybe... but if treated well, it'll simply start flowering and therefor finish in a pre-programmed way. expect variable length per plant. more photons per day just mean more growth / more bud development, but it's on the same timeline. There is also a limit to how much a plant can handle relative to CO2 in atmosphere + temps/RH...
