Nice bushy auto !! Yep for sure , go through and take about 15-20% of those shade leaves off , anything in the way of bud getting light is a good start .

I do my last defoliation in week 4 of flower. Just clean out the bottom 1/3 and some of the bigger leaves covering bud sites.

I'd defoliate. There's certainly some spots likely lower that aren't really receiving any light. I like keeping my girls lean though, that's my personal preference.

Maybe?? Would be good to be very minimal if you are going to go through with it. only to help light to lower bud sites and keep air movement up. Other option, keep up the air moving aorund the plant so its not stale air in the centre and use some LST to open it up vs defoliation. Most autos don't like to get plucked in mid/late bloom from my experience and can suffer a bit. I'd say you are on the cusp of early/mid flower. Good Luck!

Scissors out and let's go! Cut off all the leaves that don't get any more light anyway. I did that too. Worked very well
