Snails or slugs would eat whole chunks of leaves. Those look like small holes, most probably some kind of caterpillar

Listen,from what i see in your picture,your plant is not eaten by anything right now..there is some small colors difference here and there but nothing major to worry about. to be on the safe side i would spread salt on ground surrounding the plant and snails cannot pass that. have a quick look on bottom of leaves to track any pests and crash gently between fingers if you find any. she looks very good and i wouldnt worry now

Yes. You can try to setup a physical barrier to prevent the snails/slugs from being able to get to your plant (plastic bottle could work) . Another option would be to attract them far away from your baby: they love saucers, orange rinds, and plastic pots of milk or beer. I'll be around, good luck with this outdoor beauty 👊
