No way to tell the difference between male and female seeds, but most seeds these days are "feminised", meaning the is a greater than 99% chance of the plant from those seeds being female. Regular seeds have a 50/50 chance of being either male or female, but unless you are interested in breeding, there is little point buying regular seeds, although there are some purists out there that will not buy anything except pure, genetically unmodified seeds. Male plants are basically unsmokeable as their trichome production is extremely low and it is the female flowers that ooze the trichomes that get people high.

Oh, and I think everyone tends to forget there is some ok material on here. Very good for beginners to learn the difference between marco/micro nutrients and just by knowing them you'll know that micro nutrient defs show up around bud sites mainly sugar leafs 1st cause they are immobile and marco nutrients are core NPK mobile nutrients that first show in fan leafs as if your plant is short on these they'll eat the next closest source and that's your fan leafs as they come before the buds. Look for micro and marco plant nutrients. Learn stuff like that. Unless you are messing with regular seeds which you really don't need to waste your time unless you are cross breeding as there is so many solid genetics and strains out there. I'd be searching what are hermies, how, what it looks like, what to do, ppl tend to panic but you have time and even if if you pollinate some bud it won't be the whole plant. Anyways stuff like that I'd be learning. Good luck.

Yep internet is the best place, google male marijuana and go to images. Do the same with female. Seeds don't show gender. Male parts will be oval balls where female will be tear drop shape with 1-2 hairs sticking out. Hermie will show both and/or "bananas"
