Best bet would be to get a jewellers loupe or usb microscope you can use with your phone, when trichomes are all cloudy with some turning amber then it’s ready (dependant on what high you want) and also, never go by the trichomes on the sugar leaves, always check the trichomes on the buds/calyxes as sugar leaves shoe mature trichomes way earlier than the actual buds

flushing is for fixing a substrate issue -- like pH or nute concentrations etc... it does not ever change the mineral content of buds. blind taste tests show ppl can't tell the difference. it's a bunch of anecdotal nonsense from a time of esoteric, isolated growing and oddball theories abound. some ppl think burning their plant helps or tossing ice on roots, lol. same thing.. anecdotal.. no baselines no comparison just some "dude" having a feeling and an ego too big to admit what they did had no effect... caus ethat would make them stupdid.. (their feeling, not reality.. "stupid" is the selectively ignoring facts part)

High Markdavis, The most precisely way to know if a plant is (almost) ready for harvest is by using a x60 pocket microscope. They are really cheap and the only way to know when the trichomes are ready for harvest. But when I look at your plants I would say that you can start flushing now! Happy Harvest! 😋

No not yet, she hasn't even started swelling yet. The calyxes haven't swelled at all yet. Keep on as you are for another week to 10 days and ask again. Get pictures of the buds.

https://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest Care when looking for trichomes, leaves trichomes become cloudy/amber before the trichomes on leaves.

I think you're good to go.. by the time the flush ends, you'll have some amber trichs on her and it will be the perfect time to harvest! Good call! And good luck!

Well i couldnt say, the only thing can commend is that u should bring up a close up picture of the calyxes, not the sugar leaves. Those trichomes on sugarleaves turn milk and amber faster as the actual buds. I would say almost but not yet there are still some white hairs around. Not everything turns orange ofcourse but i see a white mass of hairs on top of the most left cola so i would give it another week at least. Great training skills u got there btw
