Training Automatics - best practices!

Hi guys. How do you go about training automatics? Some say only LST, some don't hesitate to top several times and some say to just leave it grow by itself. I'd love to top'em a few times but I'm not sure. Please HALP! Thank you! (Pic pretty unrelated, it's my last Mimosa EVO)

I think it's fine if you top an auto as long as there healthy . It will just mean more time added on to the grow . Best and fastest way that is working for me is too LST and defoliate when needed, on a 20/4 light cycle . Leaving it to grow by itself I think is only useful in a sea of green set up or outdoors, otherwise you should always train autos unless you don't mind sacrificing yield . 🌱

@ORGANOMAN, thank you, Sir. I'll definitely check out the blog section of GD for further information. I only asked because I wanted some opinions of people actually working with the plant on a daily basis ;)

There is much information about growing autos in the Grow Diaries Journal/Blog section found at Grow Diaries' home page. I am of the belief that not doing anything other than some gentle LST, is best for the normal grower and best for the plant.
