What about poneytailing leaves for better sun penetration instead of trimming them ? (kinky post)It probably exists but I've never seen it. I poneytailed leaves instead of defoliating them, since it's their ultimate food suppply. Mostly the big ones not near the buds, can I do that on the main bud leaves ? Anyone uses this technique ? Is that a bad idea ? Did I over do it ?

Can I continue to tie down LST'd stem to horizontal or is there increased risk of breakage?I tied down seedling plants 24hrs ago and they have straightened out much more quickly than I thought. My plan was to have the tied down stem elongate past the rim of the pot then allow it to grow vertical. Can I continue to straighten the stem 😄 or are they set like Jello? 😔
