It's fine, top the plant first and then bend her over for a nice even canopy, keep tying the tallest ones down

What is the risk to apply HS training(Topping Defoliation) to the strain for which LST/SCRoG is recommended?I am growing Auto Black Opium(Divine Seeds).
The description says SCROG and LST work good.
I started bending it recently and did 1 time topping earlier.
I feel I need to do some defoliation, but it will be 2nd HS technique, which contradicts the recommendations.

Or maybe LST one Plant, let one grow natural ?this is my third ever grow, and i was wondering if its worthy letting a plant grow natural, So far my two first plants i have done LST on, will the yield be impacted a lot when its being grown natural ? first grow here. My automatics are at their 16th day above ground. I think I have to top one of my plants to keep her height in check. Where and when should I top her? should I rather only do LST or maybe even wait for now (but they are automatics, so I should be quick?)?

Pistils? Steps from now on?Hey this is my first plant. Went all good till now. Not the growth i had wished for, but im happy.
Day 21 now i see pistils clearly. Isnt it a bit early for pistils, because the plant is relatively small.
