Any black soil with proper pH level (5.0 - 6.5) is alright.
Get some perlite too, mix it with your soil (80% soil, 20% perlite). Also make a perlite layer 1-2 cm thick at the bottom of your pot - it helps draining.

Soil recommendation? Typically use Fox Farms Happy Frog but price keeps going up and quality seems much lower, lots of sticks, not mixed well etcIs there any soil recommendations anyone can make that are good but a less pricey? slowly drying soil VS transplanting autoflower (Day22)bad idea to transplant my autoflowers (day 22, entering preflower) now that I’ve realized the substrate (Biobizz Lightmix) is too compacted and takes 6–8 days to dry? What else can I do? I know transplanting causes stress, but isn’t slow-drying soil an even bigger problem? thanks

Mold on soilI used BioBizz LightMix with Monsterbud Mix from Amnesia and some mycorrhiza in the hole of the seed. 3 seeds after 3 days still not germinated in soil. Had foil on top of the pots for humidity. Probably watered a bit too much. What should I do and will my seeds still germinate?

noticed the ph in the Pots is at 6.5+, something to do with the Hydroton. In order to balance it i had to drop the res PH to 4.0, but it constantly rises back up to 6. Using RO water
Suggestions appreciated, will the Hydroton eventually stop having the ability to raise my PH?Week 1

How to get PH downHi everyone
Her run off water is around PH 7.1 so I'm watering this plant with 5.8 PHed solution (biobizz and ph down). Despite of it I am not getting down the run off PH. What should I do to solve this problem?
PS - I have already flushed her with 2.5 liters of 5.8 PH water.Week 6
