Any black soil with proper pH level (5.0 - 6.5) is alright.
Get some perlite too, mix it with your soil (80% soil, 20% perlite). Also make a perlite layer 1-2 cm thick at the bottom of your pot - it helps draining.

Spider Farmer driver failure. LED HELP. Should've went HLG.Ok this is hard. Sf 4000 driver failure & idk what I did lol. Plugged into extensions and a surge protector but aside from flipping a fuse every once in awhile this came out of nowhere. Any help would be great or even just where to start. First time testing PPM and slightly panicked :cRunoff was at 2200PPM. I flushed her with 5L of pH 5.8 water. I got the runoff to 1000PPM where I left it. The pH was at 7 though and was higher than before the flush. Why is that? I always pH before watering. Also, is the flush going to cause trouble for her? I kind of panicked.6y ago

Clay pebbles at the bottomI'm thinking using this like maybe an half inch in 4 gallon fabric pot - for better airflow for roots & to prevent overwatering. They absorb the excess well and give off slowly.
Been doing this with my normal plants at home and it works well for them. Anyone with experience?

How does this soil mix look?Running 65% ProMixBX, 25% Castings, and 10% perlite.
With 5 tbsp each of crab, feather and fish bone meal as well as 2.5 tbsp each of kelp meal and bat guano. (20 tbsp total for 10 gallons, 2tbsp per gal)
