Any black soil with proper pH level (5.0 - 6.5) is alright.
Get some perlite too, mix it with your soil (80% soil, 20% perlite). Also make a perlite layer 1-2 cm thick at the bottom of your pot - it helps draining.

When i opend the deposit of the water of the dehumifier i found these little flies that are the classic Substrate fly (nasty but no harm).

soil not accepting waterSo last Sunday I watered in a little less than a gallon for each, in 7-gallon pots. the bottom is soaking wet, but about 1/2 inch down the soil seems bone dry. Medium is FF ocean forest and SOHUM Super soil at the bottom. the plants are showing over/underwatered. What do i do??4 years ago

Spider Farmer driver failure. LED HELP. Should've went HLG.Ok this is hard. Sf 4000 driver failure & idk what I did lol. Plugged into extensions and a surge protector but aside from flipping a fuse every once in awhile this came out of nowhere. Any help would be great or even just where to start. Once seed cracked i planted seed on this soil. Is it too strong for the seedling? Am i already in trouble? xPIt's from Geolia, ph5.5-6.5. It says it has guano 200g/m³, and 1kg/m³ of N14 P16 K18 fertelizer and 7.0kg/m³ of limestone. 60-75% water absortion.It composed mostly of peat it seems.
