1 gallon or to 5 gallon?

First time growing photos. I current started them off in solo cups but am debating to go to 1 gallon pots or directly to my 5 gallon. I’m siding with 1 gallons since I have a heavy watering hand and am new. What’s everyone’s thoughts?

nice girls, good time for transplanting. Russian doll would do most , if you know how to transplant, you have mycorrhizae to feed roots each time, then i would suggest you to go 1, later to 5 and to 10 I would highly recommend final pot be at least 30 liters, 40-50 range was ideal for me with big plants. if you will be planting them to final pot, use tomato technique, when you put plant not roots down, but make it on 45 degrees angle, that way you will expand your plants future canopy with one move. That will ease up LST, which i would highly recommend for best outcome. If you have space, some extra time and desire max - big pot is only way in soil . happy Growing !!!

From personal preference with Auto's they don't enjoy transplanting.try starting in final pot. Use a humidity dome when you give a try .

If you use fabric pots (HIGHLY recommended), whether you have a heavy hand watering or not shouldn't make much of a difference.... I'd personally go with the 5 gallon and be done with it! Good luck in making your decision and in your grow!

I recommend going with 1 gallon and then moving up to 5 gallons later. It will help you get the hang of figuring out when your plants need watered and transplanted. Sure, it's more work. But, the more practice you get in on things like that, the faster you will dial them in, kind of like muscle memory. If you have any questions, feel free to click on the airplane and shoot me a message. I'm always down to talk about growing and help other growmies out. I hope this helps. Good luck with your grow!

Depending on how much veg you wanna give to them! If you want add 1-2 weeks of veg, go to 5 gallons, if you want to play and try some scrog, you can go 3 for 3-4 weeks, than 5 gallonsto flowering. But , my advice, go directy 5 and try some lst :)

I typically start them in solos then once well rooted move them straight to 5 gallon. I personally have had no issue with that. I know some people like to pot up from a solo, to a 1 gallon, to a 3 gallon, to a 5 gallon🙄 seems like a lot of unnecessary work and plant stress to me. But people have had success with both methods

Hi there I like to pot up .. it makes watering them alot easier and gives good root growth in each pot, By the time they go in the big final pot the roots are well established 👍 Best of luck 🌱
