Buds harvested smells not good

Thanks guys. The temp is 22degrees C Humidity around 58% to 61% It has only been almost a week from harvest, I was worried cause I’ve done pretty much good at this on, veg & flowering If you ask the strains are mimosa evo x orange punch from barneys and bleu gelato

Hey Growmie, during andncuring the weed go hand in hand. 60% humidity and as close 60 degrees as you can is ideal. This encourages the plant to dry slowly while breaking down the remaining nitrogen and nutrients to avoid spoiling the flavour of your buds. If temps are too high, your terpenes (taste and smell) will ill evaporate. Store in jars, burping (opening the lid and letting air in and out) daily for 4-6 weeks and some of your weed smells should come back, not all, but it may be smokable. Good luck Growmie 👊🇨🇦❤️

If you are talking about a hay grassy smell. That's cause you dried it in high temps. I had it at a late summer harvest with a few of my grows. On the grind its gone though. But, if you want to get rid of that smell. It'll take 2 months + cure. Mine are only throwing it off now.2 way rh packs helped also. 1 plant still has a very light touch of it. But, as I said. Smokes great, abs smells a treat on the grind. Good luck.

How did you dry it. Dried to fast can lead to a weak smell and harsh taste. Have you cured it, what does it smell like?

It'd be easier to tell with a diary - different strains have different smells and it also develops through drying and curing. However, you could also get bad smells from issues like rot/mold.
