HID to LED mid grow

Has anyone ever moved a plant from HID lights to LED during flower ? Keen to hear from your experience as it’s looking likely that I’ll need to do exactly that in the near future .

yeah i did it last grow, switched from a 250W hps to SF2000 200W beggining of third week of flowering, the plants didn't seem to bother at all.

Hat meine Pflanze im sommer in der blütenphase im Zelt und mittags dann mal für 2-3 stunden in die Sonne gestellt, da gabs keine Probleme.

Yes it can be done. A lot of times you may need to add a little more cal mag is about only issue. Plus Temps won't be as strong. Good luck. 🌱🌱🌱

Light ScienceHas anyone watched some Youtube videos by Dr Bruce Bugbee from Apogee Instruments? I find his lectures on lighting to be the most straight forward explanations I have heard yet. I found his vid called "The New 400-750 nm ePAR Range Explained with Dr. Bruce Bugbee" to be eye opening on lighting colours. I have changed my LED's based on a few of his vids. He explains what plants really want and those Burple lights just don't cut it.
For those that don't know he is a professor at the University of Utah that legally studies cannabis growth.

Different light for flowering stage?Second time grower and first time blogger. Have yet to post yet but i'm getting prepared before receiving seeds in a couple of days. Too little lightI have now tried removing the WPM by smiering 40/60 milk/water on the affected areas. Deep inside the canopy aswell since little to no airflow passes here due to the plant being so deep in the pot. And apart from that the plant recieves 8 hours of light and I cant install a LED.6y ago

Light burn or nutrient burn?Hey guys. The tips of my leaves are starting to turn yellow and I’m wondering if this is a nutrient burn or light burn?
I lowered my ppm feeding to about 250 a few days ago and am growing in ocean forest fox farm soil.
And the light is an optic 2 running just the cobs at 24”.

UV light how to useDoes anyone know if I'm supposed to turn the UV light on by itself for 2 hours a day or is it ok to have it come on while my main LED light is on too? It's the AC Infinity U2 UV Ionbeam they were in stock for 4 days a few weeks ago and I got lucky getting one,ty 4 any help

Best LEDs or small HID to replace 1000W dimmable HID for small spaceI'm using a 1000w HID setup I had from before, running at 50% in a cool tube. It's loud and not efficient. Maybe it's time I switch to LEDs or a 250 HID. I don't want to sacrifice bud quality but I'm low on funds. Any recommendations for a good light that will fill this space?

LUX meter grow questionCan someone check out the LUX meter video and tell me how I should be positioning my lights? I think maybe I have too much light on them.
My meter says 600 (x100) that puts me at like 60000 lumen. The converter I used put that to 1541.36 umol/s/m2 which is a lot of light alreadyWeek 7
