I'd like to reuse my coco, so just wondering how some of you that use it wash yours in prep for another grow. I had issues with gnats so I want to be sure the coco is pest free before I use it again. I don't have lots of gadgets so tips on how to physically wash it wd be helpful

I would soak it good in neem oil. Then I just flush it with 5.8 pH water. I use it about 3 cycles.

Just avoid all potential disease and pest problems and use new coir from the outset. All the cost and stuffing around trying to make something old new again..........is it really worth it??

I would get some Mosquito Bits and use as directed... it will kill fungus gnats, eggs, larvae.. and quickly! Good luck!
